Decorate Your Desktop With These Easter Wallpapers

By migsbassig

Easter is next month – still more than two weeks away. But I have already been rigorously searching the Web for holiday wallpapers to download and display on my computer screen, wallpapers that will be in tune with my celebration of Easter, a joyous religious holiday that Christians all over the world observe to mark the Resurrection of Jesus.

I’m not in a rush. Actually, I am trying to catch up. My laptop, home desktop computer, and office computer are all still sporting St. Patrick’s Day wallpapers, and I can only imagine how embarrassing it would be for a wallpaper fanatic like me to not be keeping with the holiday calendar.

Here, then, is my list of top Easter wallpapers. Happy hunting!

3120370fBunny In A Basket. Nothing ushers in spring better than does Easter, and maybe nothing ushers in Easter more cutely than does this holiday wallpaper. It’s a spring wallpaper and Easter wallpaper in one: here, an adorable shiny-eyed bunny rests in a beautifully crafted basket, right on a bed of pink rosebuds and flowers.

Eggs and Jellybeans. For kids, Easter means dying eggs, eating chocolate bunnies, carrying candy-filled baskets, and overdosing on jelly beans. To them Easter is a sweet religious holiday – literally. This holiday wallpaper captures the youthful spirit of Easter, with a close-up picture of brightly-colored plastic Easter eggs filled with all the bold and bright flavors of jelly beans. A desktop treat!

Easter Inspiration. Let us not forget that Easter is, first and foremost, a religious Christian holiday. Display a powerful and holy message on your desktop with this Easter wallpaper, which juxtaposes a close-up photo of a white lily with an inspirational quote from none other than Pope John Paul II. “Do not abandon yourself to despair,” the message reads. “We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.” Amen to that.

Easter Egg April Calendar. Easter eggs make such delightful subjects for a photograph. This holiday wallpaper proves just that. The colors (blue, yellow, green) and patterns (stripes, dots, squares) of three Easter eggs dangling from the branches of an Easter tree arrest my eyes. On the right side of the wallpaper, a calendar for the month of April will help you keep yourself organized (amidst what must be a number of Easter parties!).

Easter Bunny. This scores high on the cuteness scale. An Easter bunny with an inquisitive look on his face glances directly at the camera, all while he climbs over a huge pile of multi-colored jelly beans. The colors of this Easter wallpaper will dazzle you.

He Has Risen. The reason why we celebrate Easter is because Jesus rose from the dead. On this wallpaper, a striking photograph of a billowing cloud illuminated in a bright blue sky is made more beautiful by the sun’s rays emanating from behind. A Biblical quote states the Resurrection story and delivers the essence of Easter. I almost expected to hear a holy hymn playing as the soundtrack of this profoundly beautiful holiday wallpaper.
