Celebrating Cinco De Mayo

By pattyloves37

Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner, and it’s the perfect excuse to play Mariachi music and bust out that sombrero from last year’s Halloween Party. The history of Cinco De Mayo is quite interesting, many believe that Cinco De Mayo celebrations are about the independence of Mexico, but that event actually took place in September. If you are interested in a full history of Cinco De Mayo take a look at, Cinco De Mayo History.

If you are hosting a Cinco De Mayo Celebration, no Cinco De Mayo party would be complete without traditional Mexican Cuisine, my personal favorites are the Roasted Salsa, and The Seven Layer Taco Dip. These take some time to make, but they are worth it when they are finished.

If you are not going to be able to celebrate Cinco De Mayo with all of your friends you can always send them Cinco De Mayo cards. A great way to tell your friends that cannot wear a sombrero hat with you on Cinco De Mayo that you will be thinking about them while you are partaking in a Cinco De Mayo Celebration.

Cinco De Mayo is a perfect day to have a fiesta, drink some Margaritas, listen to Mariachi music, wear a sombrero, and eat a lot of Mexican food with your close friends. Have fun and remember Viva el Cinco De Mayo!
